About Rieu
Rieu is named after Andre Rieu. His soulful music matching this boys personality to melt your soul. He is a cuddly little creature. He is loyal and loving. He is a steady little shadow, always found sitting at your feet looking up lovingly. He is very affectionate and wants to be everyone’s best friend. He would rather be cuddling than off on an adventure.
Rieu knows his name and is very good at coming when he is called. He is obedient in nature but is still in his preliminary training, especially when it comes to poo time.
As he is still very young, he has not attempted walking on a leash. He is very good at putting himself to bed when he needs his quiet time. He is great with children and strangers - the more pats the merrier is his motto! He’s not overly curious when it comes to other dogs and completely impartial to the cat!
Rieu loves food, sleeping and cuddles. He enjoys sniffing sidewalks and eating sand - the beach is his favourite place! Like most dogs he is intrigued by the ocean but offended by the shower. He is very settled while travelling - he takes that opportunity to top up on his beauty sleep.
This boy is confident but also potentially oblivious to the world. He is still learning his basics in toilet training. He is starting to get the idea about relieving himself outside - but it’s a work in progress.
Mr Rieu is a very loving pup - he needs cuddles and attention. He would be perfectly placed in a social space or a well loved member of any young family - where there were always lots of love to go around.
His mum was a kelpie mix and dad was unknown. He will be a clever little pup and will need an active lifestyle and a family that will give his mind the fundamentals of work and mental stimulation. He will need a home that is committed to training and extra sports or activities that will allow inside living too. If you can offer a home full of learning and fun then please apply.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
