Rambo has an overactive thyroid, high blood pressure and some osteoarthritis which are all well managed with medication.
About:
Rambo came into care when his owner passed away and Bobi as he is known to his foster mum, found himself at the pound. After a (very) short adjustment period Bobi has shown himself to be just the sweetest and gentlest little old man. He gets very attached to his chosen humans and doesn’t often like to let you out of his sight.
His absolute favourite place is to be snuggled up with his person be it on your lap, under the covers, at the foot of the bed or even as a nice little head warmer on the pillow. Being a gentleman of advanced years Rambo doesn’t do much playing anymore but he still gets the occasional case of the afternoon zoomies during which he tears around the house for 30 seconds before retiring for a nap. In the colder weather Bobi has been enjoying chilling out near the heater and in any good sized sunbeams he can find.
Rambo’s age does mean he suffers from some common age related diseases. He has an overactive thyroid gland and high blood pressure as well as some osteoarthritic pain for which he takes daily medication but hidden in some wet food he eats it all with no problems. None of these conditions are life threatening in themselves and so long as he continues to receive his medication they don’t even impact his quality of life.
Rambo does have very strong feelings about having to share his home with fur friends and will need a forever home where he is the only pet. This sweet little guy would make such a wonderful companion for someone who is ready to cuddle him and keep him warm and fed in his golden years and in return you will get such devoted love, he is literally heart warming.
