About Cleo ~ 1yr old Staffy X(On Trial 25/9/22)
Cleo is the companion you have been looking for. She is an engaging, bright and bubbly 14 month old Staffy X female and she very much wants to make your home hers.
Cleo is a typical Staffy. She is always up for a run and tumble and loves human attention. Cleo has learned so many skills and positive behaviours while being in foster care. Her training in basic commands is going well, however she would benefit from further training to keep her active and to make her the best family member for years to come. She loves spending time helping out in the kitchen where her speciality is the supervision of home made muesli bars.
She currently lives with an older male staffy foster brother. She has learned from him patience and when to give space. If you have a fur baby currently, play dates can be arranged to ensure an easy transition to your family.
Cleo has shown that she is not a fan of felines. Her one request is that they stay away from her yard! While not tested with children, she has shown to be a polite dog when meeting people in social situations (after excited puppy jumps). Cleo would suit an active family that are ‘dog savvy’ and intend to make her an integral part of their family. Due to her still learning all her manners, it is suggested that children over 8 would be perfect.
Being the gorgeous young lady that she is, Cleo will require a very secure yard with 5-6 foot
colourbond (or similar) fences that are dig proof and a yard big enough to run around. Please no courtyard, apartments or yards which do not allow for zoomies and play time. Cleo is very much a lady of leisure and must be allowed to be with her family indoors and out. This will allow her to be a complete member and feel completely at home with you. Cleo would also prefer someone home more often than not, someone who loves long walks, who is active and will go on heaps of adventures with her. Giggles, laughs and kisses guaranteed! She would love a home with a family who have previous Staffy experience and understand their quirky natures.
Cleo is in foster care in the Newcastle Region NSW. She is not available for interstate adoption at this time. If you have any questions for her carer please contact her through margaretannedavies@outlook.com
