About Peach
With her mottled nose, stumpy legs and long body, Peach stands out wherever she goes. She is a friendly and happy puppy who is keen to make new friends. Peach is a cuddler and can be found snuggled up on the couch next to you or with the other dogs. Other than that, you will find her on a bed in front of the heater during this cold weather. She is a typical puppy with a cheeky and excitable personality. Playtime with soft toys can end in accidental explosions of fluff but she always has fun in the process! Peach enjoys exploring the garden and will bring her finds of twigs and sticks in to show you when she’s done. She is such an affectionate puppy but is also well-balanced and happy to entertain herself a bit too.
While in foster care, she has been living with 3 other dogs. At first, she was very excited to have permanent friends to play with and was a bit over enthusiastic with her play, but with over time she has settled and now plays nicely with the other dogs. If Peach is going home with another doggy friend, then they will need to be tolerant of puppy play and happy to have some fun with her. Otherwise, we do believe that she would be ok as an only dog, if someone is home most of the time and they are able to give her plenty playtime with other dogs.
Peach has begun basic training while in foster care. She has been developing her leash walking skills, but she needs further training and practice, particularly in new environments to build her confidence. She is crate trained and sleeps there throughout the night. Peach can confidently use the doggy door and her toilet training is progressing, but this will need to continue in her new home. As with any puppy, Peach will require ongoing training and appropriate socialisation. She will need play dates with friendly dogs as she is not ready to be thrown into the craziness of a dog park.
We are looking for a home where Peach will be a part of the family and welcomed inside to be with everyone. She would be best suited to older children who would be able to participate consistently in her training. Peach will need a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside at night and would do best with a slow feeder bowl as she loves her food. She is expected to not grow very tall but her more solid build will push her into the medium weight category. Peach has moderate energy levels and will need a decent amount of daily exercise and mental stimulation.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
