About Hamilton
Introducing HAMILTON, one of 10 absolutely adorable Border Collie mix puppies from the Island Litter.
They were born on 19 April 2022 to their lovely mum, Morgan, a young tan and white, short-haired border collie mix with amber eyes. Morgan's photo forms part of Hamilton's profile. We think dad was a border collie mix, too.
Hamilton is a confident, playful and affectionate pup. The photos were taken on the pups' first visit to the vet and Hamilton took it all in his stride.
Border Collies can make great family pets, loyal companions and excellent watchdogs. They are clever, even-tempered and eager to please, making them a good choice for a family pet. They get along well with children and other pets, particularly when introduced from an early age.
The secret to bringing the best out in a border collie is to keep him occupied and well loved.
A BC's greatest joy is the love and attention of an active owner or family, while his greatest disappointment is inactivity and lack of attention.
BCs are extremely loyal dogs and love their humans. Wherever their family is, that's where they want to be too - whether that's out in a boat, in the back of a car, going for a walk, training for agility competitions or herding, or just watching television in the evening.
To be happy and content, Hamilton will need plenty of vigorous daily exercise, mental stimulation and play. As always, secure fencing is a must.
Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and/or there is another compatible dog for Hamilton to play with. Previous breed experience will be highly regarded.
If you are interested in meeting this lovely pup and can offer him a suitable, safe and loving forever home, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Hamilton's adoption fee is $795. He has had two vaccinations and is microchipped and wormed. His adoption fee includes desexing when age appropriate.
Hamilton is available for interstate adoption, but all applicants must be prepared to travel to Warwick, Q. personally to meet him.
