LunaKahuna

Sweet natured, quiet & playful girl.

This lovely almond eyed lass is a real snuggler. Like every large to giant breed I know, she has little understanding of how big she is which is why good training, boundaries & a sweet nature are so Important.

LunaKahuna follows basic commands & sits very quickly. She knows what “no” means but unsupervised she will kick into puppy terror warp 10 & shred items like clothing, shoes, some dog bedding, cushions etc.

It’s best that she is crated at night until she grows out of puppy stage & learns some manners. She sleeps all night in her crate. Any stubbornness is resolved with food. Highly food motivated.

LunaKahuna loves a walk but is quite new to lead time so needs work here. She is easily distracted by people & other dogs & likes to sit to watch them. There must be some scent hound in her because she puts her head down & trails.

She is gentle & sometimes timid meeting other dogs but is super friendly when she knows them.

Cat friendly- she sniffs my Devon Rex but leaves him when told and doesn’t get mouthy with him. They share food out of the same bowl.

LunaKahuna came in a little undernourished so her growth spurt is now in overdrive. She weighs 35kgs now & will probably add at least another 5-15kgs before she’s finished growing.

Mum was black Dane x ridgeback but unsure of Dad.

She is very quiet but has a huge bark on her when she does talk.

She would like company but would also be okay in a single dog home with lots of stimulation to develop into the best girl.
