About Penelope
Little Penelope is a gorgeous, sweet girl who was found wandering on her own. Sadly no-one came forward to claim her so she finds herself looking for a loving family to belong to. She has grown a lot in two weeks in care, and put some good weight on. She is a mix of breeds but probably has some Staffy in her, and she will most likely be on the large side when adult.
Penelope just loves cuddles with her people, especially neck snuggles. As a young pup she is still learning the basics such as toilet training, sit and wait. She loves her food so should be pretty easy to train. As with all pups, she will require a lot of time and commitment, and we strongly recommend puppy school training so she starts meeting other puppies and new people, as this will give her the best opportunity to grow into a dog-social and confident adult dog. Penelope will chew almost anything so a generous number of enrichment and chew toys will be a must, otherwise your precious household items could be on her chew list!
Penelope loves playing with her foster carer's dog and with caring new owners to provide her with lots of doggy socialisation as she continues to grow up, she should remain a friendly girl. She will need an active family who will offer her lots of playtime, daily walks (when old enough) and to be included as a part of the family. While she is young, she will need owners who are home a lot so she is not left without human company for long periods.
Penelope is a fantastic pup and will grow to be a loyal family member. Please complete our SAFE Bunbury Enquiry Form to apply to adopt her.
