About Happy
Hello I am Happy, I am a lovely 2-year-old male, Kelpie mix. When I came into foster care, I had little human interaction, and I was shy and not too sure about people, but my foster mum agrees I have done a complete 180 and am happy to come up to anyone for a pat on my own terms.
I can walk on a lead well and have a decent recall. Once I am settled into my new home, I will follow you around and be with you wherever I can. I do like to have my own space at times but after some alone time I will come back to you with my tail wagging! I am good around horses, chickens, other dogs, and people.
I would love to go to a home with no children because I think they will overwhelm me. I need a home that understands I need further training as I need someone to help build my confidence and someone to rely on for my whole life. I wouldn’t mind if it was a home with acreage or a backyard as long as my mental and physical needs are met.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
