About Kiwi and Clementine
Kiwi and Clementine were rescued from the streets and have formed such an incredible bond, we cannot bear to let one go without the other!
Kiwi and Clem are very food oriented! Whether it's treats or dinner, or you cooking your own dinner, or you eating dinner and not sharing with them, they'll let you know they are KEEN! When they've finished filling their bellies, they are both happy to be totally pampered, wrapped in a blanket, or upside down getting tummy scratches. Kiwi is a real snoozer, and will give you the side eye if you wake him up. Especially if you're not trying to win him over with a snack.
But Kiwi and Clem are not just a lazy bones Jones couple- no! They love a good zoomy around the house, chasing a lazer or a toy until they are totally worn out. And then they snuggle up together in a giant, kitty cuddle.
Kiwi and Clementine are great with kids and get along brilliantly with their foster brother too. They are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and ready for their forever home.
NOTE: Kiwi is a boy and Clem is a girl.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via the JotForm.
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
