Montgomery Mortimer

Ok so Monty, or "Wonty" (as my 2 year old fondly refers to him), is short for Montgomery Mortimer. An old-man name for an old man soul. He is such a placid, sweet old man in a kitten's body. He LOVES being around people and around the other kittens and he was the first one out of the litter to get along with my 12 year old cat. Don't get me wrong, he will stand his ground and hiss if he needs to, but mostly he is just a little ol' snuggle-puss.
He constantly buries himself in a blanket, swaddle or doona, or wants to be on your lap or chest, and will go all rag-doll floppy in your arms if you pick him up for a snuggle. This is especially true for my children, whom he has endless patience for, as they pick him up and carrying him around.

He has the sweetest, longest, happiest purr. He is also quite vocal, more than his brother and sister, and will meow, chirp, growl, chatter, and generally "talk" often throughout the day. This makes for quite funny conversations if you are the kind of person who talks to your pets or mimic your pets sounds.
Monty absolutely loved being ON you and is a lap-cat for sure. Most nights I fall asleep with him on my chest or tummy. He will actively watch tv and watch you keenly if you are singing or talking or if there is something on your phonescreen or computer screen he will be right up close checking it all out.
He does like toys, and has kitten-like tendancy to play with the pompoms and the cat-gym, but will lose interest quickly in favour of CLIMBING and exploring, or sitting on your lap and watching the other babies play. He does love cardboard though and will scratch and rip and play with cardboard happily.
Monty is very tidy and grooms himself often, and is the neatest with using the kitty litter out of all of the three kittens.

He is such a special little dude, with a gentle, golden personality. He just loves his humans.
