About Winnie & Piglet ❤️
Winnie was rescued as a pregnant 6mo and happily gave birth in a safe and warm environment to the young man Piglet (on the 13th of April). She has been a wonderful mother and raised a beautiful, cheeky son.
They are a beautiful pair and bonded for life. Piglet has recently been desexed, so the two can stay together forever.
Winnie was rescued from a hoarding situation, so has plenty of socialisation with other Guinea Pigs, but will need some time to get completely comfortable being handled by humans. Piglet has been handled since the day he was born, so he is happy and comfortable, but just needs to be close to his mum, as he does call out to her to let her know he is ok.
They have been permanently inside in a pop-up enclosure since the weather has become very cold, prior to that, they would spend a couple of hours in a medium sized crate on the lawn, lapping up the sunshine, and come into their indoor enclosure for the rest of the day/night.
Medical notes
Male (son) DOB 13/4/2022 (born in care)
Female (mum) DOB (estimated) 11/11/2021 (came into care pregnant)
Male desexed 1/6/2022
