About Dave
Dave is a 5yo Red Kelpie. He is a beautiful boy and needs time to get to know his new family. He has very strong herding instincts, and extremely clever. So not suitable for children 12yo and under. Dave is otherwise a beautiful gentle dog and loves lots of tummy scratches. He was collar shy when he first came in but now this is not a problem as he feels safe. So giving that it is just about being gentle and giving him the time to understand his new surroundings. He is very good at verbal commands. You tell him what you want him to do and he does it. He is truly smart. Even though he is 5yo he is very active. With enough time and training he is potentially one of those dogs that works well with commands and people will wish there dog could do what he does. Dave needs a quiet home home we’re he can be his best self.
* No cats, pocket pets, chickens or livestock.
* Could be only dog (preferable) or live with another dog - read profile above
* Not suitable for an apartment.
* Renters need a pet agreement in place before applying.
* Needs secure 5-6ft fences.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
