Introducing the handsome Mowgli. With my good looks comes an extremely smoochy cuddly boy who loves his humans. I’m very much a large puppy and love to have fun playing ball, tug of war and going for walks to sniff out the exciting world. I think I am a lap dog and will try to sit in your lap and give you kisses and I love to rest my head on your shoulder! I just can’t get enough affection from you. I have been living with two middle aged foster sister dogs who like to lay around a lot and I have loved hanging around with them and I play really gentle, so if my new home has a dog already, I would be happy with a doggy friend to do the same and go on adventures with. I have also been living with an old dog friendly cat who I like to say hello to and sniff, and I’m quite happy to share the same house, because I am such a placid gentle boy. So a friendly cat is ok for me to live with also.

I am doing good with my toilet training, in my foster home my foster mum has a doggy door that is open all the time for me while I am inside to go outside when I want and although I still have the odd accident it’s not very often now. I enjoy spending time outside but I would much rather be inside hanging out with my humans. I’m a good sleeper, my foster mum has a bed for me on her bedroom floor and I will sleep in that but I do love to sneak up on her bed for cuddles and to be completely honest I would love my new home to let me do that also as I’m very well behaved and want to be as close to you as I can. I absolutely love toys and I do need toys to keep me entertained because I’m a chewer if you leave interesting things laying around.

I love to sit nicely for a treat, and once I have been outside to the toilet after I wake up I know exactly where they are and will look at my foster mum very pleased with myself waiting for one. I walk very nicely on a lead with a harness and don’t pull and I travel very well in the car with my doggy seat belt on. I like to meet other dogs out walking but I am a little shy and wait until they greet me. If we have visitors to my foster mums home I can also be shy and need reassurance that they love me also and eventually I will sneak up for a pat from them because I just love attention. I have been around children and I’m a very gentle boy with them. If my foster mum goes out I’m very well behaved and like to look out the window waiting for her car to arrive.

I’m a big eater, love my food and I will steal it if it’s at my level so I’m still learning my manners in that department! My new home must be very patient, because the world is still a scary place for me, and I will need time to realise this with lots of cuddles and reassurance.
