About Paddlepop
PADDLE POP 💛💛💛
Paddlepop is now seeking her forever home
She is a very sweet lady who baked on her weight
A special little lady, who is super energetic, sweet & cuddly. Paddle Pop has been living with her sister Splice & the resident Kelpie pup, Stormi. of 4.2 kilos we feel will probably will only be a med size girl at full growth
Paddle Pop is a tiny girl but what she lacks in size she makes up for in personality. She is very confident and full of cheek. She loves playing and scooting around the house & yard. She has the sweetest little face and gives lots of kisses and little nibbles.
* PLEASE NOTE
THERE ARE 9 PUPPIES IN THIS LITTER AND IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A FEW DIFFERENT ONES YOU WILL NEED TO APPLY FOR EACH ONE SEPARATELY AS WE POST THEM
YOU WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FOR ONE OF THIS LITTER
Each of these adorable puppies will come with one of our adoption packs including harness and lead
PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM AND JUNK FOLDERS FOR YOUR APPLICATION ONCE YOU HAVE SENT YOUR ENQUIRY
FOOD:
Paddle Pop is currently being fed three times a day Savour Life dry puppy food, she is a bit of a slow eater and often gets distracted, she would rather play with her sister. Paddle Pop is slowly learning how to sit and wait for her food - which is a work in progress.
SLEEPING:
Paddle Pop currently sleeps in a covered crate with her sister, she generally sleeps through the night, and we don’t hear a peep out of her until she hears us up and about in the morning.
TOILETING/TRAINING/WALKING:
Toilet training is a work in progress for Paddle Pop, after a little scoot around outside she will often go on the grass but does still have a few accidents inside. This is very normal puppy behaviour, and we would expect her new family to keep up with the toilet training and encourage her to go outside.
Paddle Pop is super energetic and a little crazy at times (like most puppies), she will require a family that are willing to spend the time taking her for daily walks, training her & taking her to puppy school.
Due to Paddle Pops age and not being fully vaccinated, she has not been on lead or taken for any walks. She will need ongoing training on how to walk nicely on lead.
ENRICHMENT:
Paddle Pop loves to play and muck around, she loves her zoomies and playing with balls & toys. Paddle Pop might be small, but she loves to wrestle with her sisters and uses her voice to tell them who is boss. She has very sharp puppy teeth and will chew on anything she can get her mouth around, which is very normal puppy behaviour while teething. Paddle Pop is very curious, she enjoys being out in the yard and exploring.
DOGS/CATS:
Paddle Pop has not been tested with cats but due to her age, we don’t see a problem with her being homed with a family that have cats.
Paddle Pop has been in care with two other dogs, and she loves playing with them, she often tries to pick a fight by launching on top of them or chewing on their tail (sisterly love). We have not seen any aggressive behaviour from her towards them and feel she would be fine to be homed with a family that already have a dog.
CHILDREN:
Paddle Pop has only spent a couple of hours around a child, she loved playing with her and gave her lots of puppy kisses. Paddle Pop does however jump up like most puppies do and is teething, so has very sharp puppy teeth - supervised interactions with small children would be important at this stage.
TRAVEL:
Paddle Pop has only been in the car a couple of times, to and from the vet. She was very relaxed and happy to lay there quietly and take in her surroundings.
BATHING:
Paddle Pop is great in the bath, happy to let you give her a good wash - although she doesn’t enjoy the blow dry afterwards, she will try attacking and biting the air as it comes towards her.
Paddlepop would love the following type of home
A decent size backyard with grass for her to run and play on that is securely fenced and shelter areas
A family that are willing to take her to puppy school and ongoing training and keep her well socialized all through her life with other dogs
A nice daily walks when fully immunized and old enough
Preferred home with a medium male dog who is very well socialised with others but kind and gentle with puppies (non dogs homes will also be considered)
Must be able to sleep indoors / under cover in a kennel or crate
.Her new family must understand puppies take time to settle in and all things puppy including crying, chewing and training is a must) puppies are a fair bit of work and his family must be committed to ensuring her develops to his full potential by raising her and training her
