Hi there friends! My name is Jem and I'm the little one from a litter of six, all the way from the Gascoyne Junction. I'm ten weeks old and cute as a button.
When asked to describe me, my foster Mum simply said, 'I'd use the word GEM, she really is just Jem the gem.' I was once described as the shy one but in reality, I'm not even scared of the vacuum cleaner. My foster Mum says I'm secretly the instigator of the trouble but one look at my face explains why I am never in trouble for long.
I'm pretty chilled at home and love nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch for a cuddle. I'm quite independent but am less confident in new situations and around new people. Sometimes I get worried, but after a bit of reassurance I'm ready to explore and make friends with the newcomers.
I have my sister from the same litter and my big foster brother dog at home. He plays tug with us and lets us chase him around the yard. I don't think I have seen a cat yet, but with a careful introduction I'm up for making new friends.
I'm still learning the ropes of house training and commands but can sit (if I'm not too excited). Mum takes us out for wees and we use the puppy pads, but I don't really like getting my feet wet on the grass. I love to play hide and seek and love kids to play with too.
