About Bart (formerly Stevo)
Meet Bart, the most mischievous, cuddly, energetic and lovable puppy around!
Bart is an excitable young boy who is looking for a new family to call his own. He would love to find an active family that would take him with them on family outings where he can smell all the smells, meet all the people and burn all of his never-ending puppy energy.
Bart would also love to go into a home with another friendly and confident dog (his Milhouse if you will) to support his playful lifestyle of troublemaking, one that will happily rough and tumble with him at play time and cuddle with him to have naps throughout the day.
His favourite pastimes include, but are not limited to:
* Full speed zoomies around the yard,
* Hanging out with other dogs who enjoy dog wrestling,
* Eating the last piece of your sandwiches,
* Cuddling up with you on a cold day and snoring like a adult human man.
As an American Bulldog x, Bart is likely to grow into a large sized adult dog. Ongoing obedience training would be very beneficial for this not so little pup to help teach him some good doggy manners.
If you are looking for a pup that you can pour all your love and attention onto then Bart might just be the one for you!
Bart's adoption fee includes a 1 hour post adoption consult with our behaviour trainer here at our shelter in Craigieburn.
**Application Process**
When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption centre in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them.
