About Felix **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**
This is Felix. Felix is larger than life!
But he is also sweet, affectionate and intelligent. He adores his people and does not like being alone. He is confident and needy and will need a home where someone will spend a lot of time with him.
He cuddles on foster mum's bed...sleeping either on the pillow or under the covers like a teddy bear ALL NIGHT. And he's not happy when the other cats try and steal his spot; even though he's the guest! Purr, purr, purring...He's not overly keen on being picked up - too many better things to do!
He is pretty damned special. If foster mum could keep him she would but there are too many cats already. Will be one of the hardest to say goodbye to.
He is also beyond stunning...with unusual and striking amber eyes and a grey spotted tabby coat. His mum is a Ragdoll though it's hard to see! But he's gorgeous nonetheless.
He was handed to 2nd Chance because the older couple who originally adopted him knew they just weren't the right home for him, he's a big personality! He would be best in a home without young children. A single person or couple who wants a larger-than-life, but also loyal friend to be absolutely devoted to would be ideal.
He actually likes playing with other cats (though he is, of course, the boss) he is in a home with a dog in foster care and he is a bit of a bully to her so he might be best without a dog. He would not appreciate being one of many pets, he needs to be the centre of attention.
They're all wonderful...but Felix is exceptional (if a bit of a ratbag!). He's one of those cats that will be a highlight pet of your life :)
Felix is fully vaccinated.

All 2nd Chance Cat Rescue cats are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and come with a take home pack. We transfer the change of Ownership free of charge into your name.

ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Go to our website www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au and go to our adopting page.
2. You can complete the online application by following http://www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au/adopting/adoption-form
3. Or you can download the document and email back via 2ndchancecatrescuevic@gmail.com
4. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
Please note that the adoption fee as stated on the cat's profile is required on the day of adoption and we only accept cash.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
