About Memphis & Tennesse
Tennessee aka Mumma Cat
This beautiful little lady is cool as a cucumber and not at all fazed by the comings and goings of humans and or cats around her. Tennesee is remarkably relaxed around humans for a cat that was until very recently living on the street and fending for herself and her litter. She is very relaxed, happy to be pat and picked up and would suit absolutely any household. She’s also taken on the role of den mother in her foster carers home and is the first one to rush over if it sounds like one of the other cats is in distress. She does not have a mean bone in her body.
Memphis the scaredy cat.
Unlike his mother Memphis was absolutely terrified of humans when he first arrived in our care and has been very slow to trust. We get the feeling he may have had a bad experience with people when he was living on the streets so now exerts an abundance of caution. But with a lot of patience and no small amount of love and support from his mum Tennessee and his foster carer, Memphis is now starting to come out of his shell and is well on his way to becoming a confident little character. He is a cheeky little guy who loves to play with the other cats but is still a bit shy around people. Memphis needs human that is calm, compassionate, and patient that can help him slowly build his confidence over time. We can see Memphis becoming a ripper cat as there is a gorgeous personality in there. He just needs the right person to slowly tease it out.
