Please note that a condition of adoption is that Shellington has his 2nd vaccination on 28/6/22 and is desexed and microchipped at the age of 6 months on or as close to 30/9/22 as possible. These procedures are covered in the adoption fee and are to be done at Heritage Vets in Busselton or Vasse Vets. We will email you reminders.

PLAYFUL SHELLINGTON!

- Shellington is a very handsome little mare, his favourite thing to do is sneak up and pounce on his sister Dashi.
- He plays all day and crashes in the sun to recharge then he's back into it!
- Shellington is in foster care with a family with 3 small kids, an adult cat and a medium sized dog and gets along fine with them.
- Shellington is still quite shy but he will settle into a new environment perfectly and start following you around in no time.

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.

The adoption fee of $250.00 includes desexing, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment, 2 x vaccinations and vet check.

SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on ""best fit"" for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
