There is something so sweet and so gentle about Dove that makes you want to protect her and love her with your whole heart.

Dove is a quiet girl who has grown up in a litter of kittens who are more outgoing than she is. While they steal the limelight, Dove prefers to sit back and observe.

Dove came to us with her siblings and mumma Doja. They were born in a factory and their friendly mumma did all she could to protect and keep her babies alive before we were able to bring them into the safety of foster care.

Of all the kitties we welcomed, Dove was the most unsure of her new surroundings. She would always look to her sisters Dixie and Dior (also both listed on Pet Rescue) to see if something was safe or if she could trust her foster carer.

Slowly Dove let her guard down and she soon learned that it was a safe space for her to play. But her initial reaction to most things is to stop, watch and check for danger before she will take it on.

Because she is so delicate and a little anxious at times, we are looking for a quiet home for Dove where she will have the space to find her feet in this world. She will need a little help from you to get her there, but we know this little lady has what it takes to be a brave girl when it counts.

Dove has a wonderfully sleek and shiny black coat. She makes sure to always look her best and is very undemanding in her quiet, Zen-like ways. Dove would make great company for a single person wanting to win the heart of a kitten in need. She would also be suited to a couple with no children or no young children.

She is easily startled by loud noises (like most cats she will run and hide under the bed), so Dove is not suited to a home with young children, a dog or a dominating cat.

Dove has had all of her vet work done, is flea and worm treated and comes litter trained. Your heart can’t help but go out to this little lady who just needs someone to show her the way.
