NOTE: You are unable to meet Sullivan until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Sullivan in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• I can be timid in new situations such as entering a building/home. I MUST have a family who'll allow me inside so I can see it isn't a scary place and to allow my confidence to grow.
• A doggie playmate is a MUST as I feel more confident and happy when I have a doggo to hang out with.
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• I love kids and am very gentle with them.
• SOCIALISATION is as important for me as it appears I've led a very sheltered life and can be a bit nervous/shy in new situations. Since being at the shelter I'm becoming much braver though. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will help boost my confidence

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Cats or pocket pets - i find them fun to chase

My best features:
• Very playful, once I feel comfortable with you
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I'm learning to walk on the lead at the shelter and am getting much better. I'm still a bit slow and fearful but with lots of practice I should soon look forward to a daily stroll around the neighbourhood
• I am shy at first with new people and in new environments so will require a family who will take their time allowing me to settle in and continue on with my socialization
