I might be one of the bigger girls in the bunch but that doesn't mean I don't have a sweet loving side. I love playing with my litter mates and there is nothing better than getting a cuddle and a brush from the wonderful puppy socialisers here at the shelter.

ABOUT THIS DOG BREED: The Maremma is NOT a golden retriever - it is an Italian sheep-guarding dog. Maremma's have unique personality traits that potential adoptees must be aware of prior to application to ensure this is the right dog for the living environment. Yes, they are CUTE and fluffy pups but as adults they may be aloof, independent and prone to bark as the dog was bred to guard sheep against predators. They have a strong work ethic and remain devoted to their job as protectors of 'their mob'.

ADOPTION COST: The adoption fee for the Maremma pups is $795.00 which helps to cover the cost of mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Who says you can't buy love?!
