I'm a sweet big boy with an independent side. I do enjoy contact with my litter and will choose to spend a lot of my time playing around with them. I am good with handling and enjoy a good brushing, toy play and even been known to curl up on occasion in the volunteer's lap for a snooze.

ABOUT THIS DOG BREED: The Maremma is NOT a golden retriever - it is an Italian sheep-guarding dog. Maremma's have unique personality traits that potential adoptees must be aware of prior to application to ensure this is the right dog for the living environment. Yes, they are CUTE and fluffy pups but as adults they may be aloof, independent and prone to bark as the dog was bred to guard sheep against predators. They have a strong work ethic and remain devoted to their job as protectors of 'their mob.

ADOPTION COST: The adoption fee for the Maremma pups is $795.00 which helps to cover the cost of mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Who says you can't buy love?!
