My name is Bowie, and I am looking for my forever family. I thrive on affection and love being with the family, lying on my bed or having a cuddle on the sofa. I love children of all ages and love hanging out with them, running or playing ball. I need a big back yard and I enjoy lying in the garden in the sun, playing with my toys or chewing on a big bone.

I love going for walks and do get a bit excited pulling on the lead, but I am doing well with basic training skills. I just need time and patience. My foster mum is teaching me to stop jumping up at people but all I want is a cuddle - I like to wrap my front legs around you and put my head on your belly to give you a cuddle, and I do it very gently.

I am very friendly with other dogs and just love to meet, play, and run with them. I can be a little timid with new things and I am still getting used to going out in the car.

I am currently living with 2 friendly dogs and an 8 year old child. I am toilet trained and can use a doggie door but if the door is closed, I will bark to let you know I need to go to the toilet. I have my own area to sleep just like the 2 dogs I live with, and I am learning to put myself to bed.

My foster mum says I am a very gentle, loving, sweet, playful boy who has so much love to give. Everyone who has met me has fallen in love with my sweet personality. I do love to hang out with humans and be your shadow and I will not sit until everyone has sat down. Foster Mum says I would suit a family with children who will include me in all their adventures and would thrive with another young playful dog to become best mates with, and to play with me when the family are not home.
