BASED IN HORSHAM - RURAL VICTORIA. NO WE DON'T TRANSPORT YOU HAVE TO TRAVEL TO MEET CHUCKY

We are starting the process of finding Chucky a loving forever home that is committed to meeting his needs.

Chucky is a desexed male Parsons Russell Terrier with a date of birth of 16 November 2020. Chucky will need a patient home with clear boundaries and expections.

Chucky is an acitve boy that still has a lot of puppy behaviours such as jumping up, mouthing, licking and nipping. He has a propensity to resource guard so needs management around this area.

Chucky was previously living with older small dogs of similar breed. Chucky has come from a home where someone was home most of the time.

Yesterday we introduced Chucky to a variety of sized dogs and Chucky was certainly unsure of the larger dogs. His initial response is to growl and snap when unsure with other dogs. With the smaller dogs once comfortable he did try to play. Chucky is not a dog park kind of guy.

Chucky has NOT been around cats or pocket pets or children. Chucky likes to chase birds out of his yard. Chucky is accutely aware of what is happening in his street and will alert bark at most activity. He is house trained.

The type of home we believe Chucky is best suited to is;
A home without children.
A home where someone is home a fair amount of time.
A home with active adults that will keep him mentally and physically engaged with clear boundaries and expectations.
A home with or without another small breed dog.
A home that will engage Chucky in some further training and provide him the opportunity to have contact with other dogs in a safe and controlled environment he can build his confidcence with.
A home with a secure yard that Chucky can run around in and exploore.

Chucky goes to his new home flea and worm treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped. His adoption fee is $800.
