Ariel is a pretty, playful and very confident little girl. She's also very smart!
She has the ability to concentrate and focus well when in training and learnt to sit in her first lesson with the use of treats and encouragement. Now she is learning to stay and wait for her meals. Toilet training is a work in progress and improving every day, with the aid of Puppy Pads inside.
Her social skills are good! She’s great with her fur foster siblings - one small male, who she wrestles with and one medium female, who Ariel adores and who allows Ariel to join in with her fetch and tug games. Ariel’s favourite games are fetch and tug.
She has a protective nature, always on the lookout for unfamiliar movement.
She is great with people, children especially, playing with them for hours.
Ariel is familiar with cats and chooks, as she sees them every day. When a cat dares to venture out through the cat flap and walk past her, she will give chase with barking, but out of fun and not aggression.
Ariel will need 5ft or higher fencing, as she is a high-energy dog.
The forever home that would best suit Ariel is a family with children, where she is loved and accepted by them all, and included in their outings and activities. She will also need a buddy to play with when the family is not home, so as to be never lonely!
Oh and did we mention, she is very loving and gives good cuddles too!
Medical notes
Ariel is available for pre-adoption prior to desexing and will remain in foster care for recovery after desexing.
