About Kirby DL2842
Kirby is a sweet young lady who has had a really tough time lately and is in urgent need of a special foster home.
Having recently had puppies, Kirby's a bit exhausted, as you can imagine! She also requires medical attention for her leg that may result in amputation, so she really needs a home where she can just relax.
Kirby has a beautiful face and nature. She likes meeting new people and is friendly with strangers. Kirby loves going for walks at the park or beach, before curling up on the lounge with you. She's very obedient, comes when called, and follows cues. She's house trained and uses a doggy door.
We have been told that Kirby was friendly with other dogs and cats. She hasn't yet been assessed while in our care, but we think she'll appreciate having her own space while she recovers. Kirby is not suited to a home with children.
Kirby is in need of foster care, and may even be fostered with the view to adopt once she's settled in and feeling better. If you have the loving home Kirby needs, email DFL today to apply.
Medical notes
At 25kg, Kirby is a lean and tall adult dog. Kirby hasn't been well and has a problem with her leg that may require amputation. While she is in foster care, all necessary vet treatment is covered by the rescue.
