About Minx
Minx means 'flirtatious' and this pup meets the brief. Minx is a delightful small dog with lots of energy.
She travels well in the car, is housetrained, and crate trained and is currently living with three other dogs. I have been working on her recall and that is going really well. Minx will need an owner who is committed to ongoing training in order to keep control of this little lady. She can Sit and Lie down, stay and lose lead walking need ongoing practice.
Minx is an indoor dog. Loves to sleep on a warm lap or share the sofa. She will require good fencing as she is very tiny and can fit through any small gap.
Minx is a Jack Russell Terrier x Basenji. These are both hunting breeds so the instinct is to go after small prey such as rats, and mice and this would include rabbits and other small pets so she is not available to homes with cats or small furry pets.
Although Minx loves other dogs she can become overstimulated so I would not recommend her to anyone who is dog park orientated. Lots of walking with doggy friends until she learns to be calmer are the way to go.
Minx has mild separation anxiety so would be best suited to a home where someone is home most of the time.
If you think you can offer this gorgeous dog the perfect home drop me a detailed email on why you think you are the best choice and what you are prepared to offer Minx.
Medical notes
At Dog Logics, all rescues get a full health check and blood work to make sure that there are no underlying health issues. Minx is healthy and free of any health conditions.
She is fully vaccinated, wormed and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Occasionally, as a trainer, I do have clients rescind dogs due to a range of reasons. I put some training into all dogs before putting them up for adoption. These may vary in breed.
