About Moose
If you are interested in Moose or any of our Greyhounds then please fill in our adoption form; https://www.hounds-in-homes.com/adoptionform
Meet Moose our 7-year-old gentle boy. Moose already has his green collar and is a very sweet-natured, lazy boy. Moose requires a high-quality diet, in his older years, including lots of omega-3 and fish oils.
Although Moose loves his walks he doesn’t like to go far. He doesn’t freeze or stress, he just prefers shorter walks. He does prefer being in nature and on grass, over walking on a footpath.
Moose does require access to a garden for toileting. It can be a small garden though, due to him being quite low energy.
Moose has received a dental funded by "Hounds in homes" as he wasn't covered by the rehoming assistance due to him being a private surrender.
Moose is perfect in every way! He is independent but loves affection, he is happy, content and a very relaxed boy!
He would suit an older owner, in a quiet home. Moose is fine with Kids, he just prefers a quieter home. He would love another dog as company, maybe another older chilled-out greyhound.
Moose would also suit home workers, as he is very chilled out and relaxed, he will happily nap on his bed while you work,
Like any ageing dog or animal, regular vet visits and good quality food for our beautiful boy!
Details of Moose’s full health check will be given to his new family. He has had full blood work done.
Moose loves to see his owners in the morning, with lots of Wagga tails and blissful eyes.
