Hi there, I'm Duke. I'm a handsome older gentleman with plenty of agility and energy behind me. You're only as old as you feel, you know!

I'm looking for a caring family - with someone home more often than not - where I can be included. Nothing would make me happier than being allowed inside and included in family life and activities. After all, I just love to be with my people. :)

When I say I'm energetic I'm not kidding - I LOVE playing with my tennis balls and squeaky toys. I'm still learning to share though! Oh, and I'm a talker to boot. People call me a "Chatty Staffy" for a reason! Nothing makes me happier than having a good old chinwag with people and asking how their day has been.

If I'm left home alone, I'd love to have some enrichment to help keep my clever brain focused and calm until you get back.

I'm very keen to meet my human brothers and sisters before I come home. I'm also happy to live with another older, calm female dog. However, I'd love to dine alone. I'm a big foodie after all!
