NOTE: You are unable to meet Wolf until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Wolf in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate who is gentle and calm may be okay as boisterous dogs scare me so I will require lots of socialisation with positive experiences with other dogs.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• No young children as they may accidently scare me and I am protective of my food
• I can be shy at first so I need a family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• A submissive dog is the best housemate for me. But, I LOVE LOVE LOVE people, so I'm just as happy being an only dog getting all of your love and attention for myself
• I appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter however once my confidence around them grows I might be more inquisitive. If going to a home with a cat they must be dog savvy and we must be introduced slowly.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• No young children as I can be a bit shy in new situations and with new people and little ones may accidently scare me. Older children who will be involved with my training should be ok

My best features:

• Highly food motivated
• I can sit and laydown on command with treats
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans once I am comfortable in then environment

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I will require full basic training as I've had little training experience yet but have shown that I am eager to learn
• I am shy at first with new people and in new environments so will require a family who will take their time allowing me to settle in and continue on with my socialization
• Unsure in new situations - more socialising is needed
• I love my food so using it as a positive reward should make my training easier.
• I can be strong on the lead - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this
• I am extremely timid in new situations such as entering a building/home. I MUST have a family who'll allow me inside so I can see it isn't a scary place and to allow my confidence to grow.
