About Knox ~ 12yr Old Papillion (On Trial 17/6/22)
Introducing Knox, a beautiful, energetic 12 year old male Papillon. He’s 5.8kg, fast, fluffy,
cuddly and just loves to be with you. He will entertain you, amuse you and you will never
feel alone again.
Don’t be fooled by his age. He’s got plenty of energy in his tank to give. Knox will suit an
active family or person who can walk him daily and wear him out! He would love a decent
yard to run around in and burn off some energy. You will get plenty of exercise yourself as
he definitely enjoys going for walks and he gets super excited to see his lead.
Daytime - Knox is a versatile boy he can be left at home during the day to bask outside in
the sun, play with his favourite plush toys, chase his tail or play with his other puppy pals, he
is very sociable and gets along well with other dogs. (he has not been tested with cats whilst in his foster home)
Night time - When the day is done Knox enjoys to snuggle up next to you on the lounge or
the ground next to you. Of a night he may start off on the floor but would much rather be on
the end of your bed.
Children – Knox loves everybody. He currently lives with human teenagers who adore him.
He is a perfect small dog for them, light, compact and a fun ball of fluffy energy!
Other Dogs – Knox is good with other dogs but does like to run the show sometimes, he is
not aggressive but can be assertive with his puppy pals.
Food – Knox is easy to feed, he enjoys his food and will check to see if the other dogs might
have any leftovers available if they can’t finish theirs. He can be a little possessive about his
food sometimes and does gobble it up quickly! He is booked in for some dental work in June
so he may need some soft food during the healing process.
Grooming – Regular grooming is essential to keep him looking so suave with a tidy, clean
coat.
Training – Knox will need some basic command training to sit, stay etc
Toilet Training – Such a busy bee Knox sometimes forgets to let you know that he needs to
go outside to the toilet. Toilet training will need to continue when he is adopted. Knox is a
smart dog and will catch on quickly given good regular training, consistency, time to practice and of course your patience, kindness and REWARDS.
Knox will be a fun addition to any furever home whether you have kids or you live on your
own and are looking for a furever companion, you will be furever entertained by this little
dude and he will love you furever right back at you.
Knox is in foster care in Wallsend, NSW and is not available for adoption interstate. Knox’s
adoption fee is $250 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and
microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Knox please fill out the adoption application
