About Zero ~ 14yr Old Jack Russell X (On Trial 23/7/22)
Meet the darling little Zero. Just 3kg and recently turned 14 years young, Zero is a long
haired Jack Russell x who is in great health.
This mature lady is looking for a special human companion to spend time with. Zero would
love to sit and supervise while you work on the computer or in the garden during the day.
She is also partial to a little bit of daytime TV on the couch. Her favourite place is on a
blanket or doggy bed with a chew toy.
Zero is quite versatile as far as your yard and housing goes. She is housetrained and would be happy with a small court yard and would even suit a unit or townhouse. Certainly however she would suit someone who is laid back and not interested in running a marathon together.
Zero is fine to be left in the yard playing with her foster siblings while you pop to the shops.
She currently has 4 fur siblings for company, and gets along really well with everybody. Zero
has not been tested with cats and would need a meet if you have a feline friend, however we
doubt this would be a problem.
At night Zero loves nothing more than to sleep on your bed. Currently she is set up at the end of her foster mums bed on her blanket where she will stay all night until you get up in the morning. Just wait until you see her sweet little routine where she will snuggle in and rub her face and head on the blanket… and it’s so sweet to watch.
Zero loves everyone and would be fine with visits from kids. We just ask that they be
supervised or of an age where they can be respectful of this little girls age and size.
Typical of her breed, Zero will need some grooming for her longer hair. However regular
brushing between visits keeps her long locks tidy. She enjoys a bath and brush so it’s a sweet and lovely thing to do together.
As for training - She will have you trained in no time. She is toilet trained and has had only
a few accidents in the new environment of her foster home. Honestly… It’s mostly that ladies
of a certain age don’t like to get their feet wet on soggy grass.
Zero is the perfect little lap dog. She is not looking to go on huge walks, neighbourhood
strolls are more her style. She enjoys a little bit of activity but would just be happy to be by
your side. The vets have said that Zero is in good health. She will have a few teeth removed in early June before her adoption is finalised and may need a diet of soft food for a while until fully healed.
Zeros ideal forever family will be looking for a quiet, well-mannered lap dog. You may or
may not have other pets or a large yard, however she must be allowed to spend most of her
time inside with you, especially at night. You must also have an understand and commitment
to her grooming requirements.
If you meet these requirements and would like to share your home with a beautiful senior then Zero is your little gal.
To enquire or find out more, you can contact Zero's foster carer Maka via email: drnfurmum@yahoo.com
Zero is in foster care in the Newcastle Region, NSW and is not available for adoption interstate.
