Meet Tilly...We asked her Foster carer to describe what sort of home would suit her and this is what we were told...

Tilly is an adorable sweet girl and has come a long way since coming into foster care.

She responds really well to positive reinforcement (and tasty treats!) and enjoys being inside the house and doesn't really like being outside on her own (it's also very noisy outside).

She likes following you around and having lots of pats/cuddles but is happy to chill out on her mat if told. She prefers sleeping next to my bed and sleeps quietly throughout the night. She likes a routine and looks forward to her morning and afternoon walks, even though if there are unexpected loud noises or approaching dogs she gets a bit stressed.

She is unsure of other dogs and usually stands still, with tail between her legs, but she lets other dogs may sniff her. Twice in the last few weeks she has actually moved toward a dog and gone up to sniff them but is still weary of other dogs.

She walks well on a lead, comes when she's called and has learned to sit and drop. In the last few weeks she has started to get really playful which has been great to see.

She is still a timid dog but has definitely come out of her shell. She'll be a loyal, affectionate dog who really wants to please her human.

We think she'll suit a single person or couple who aren't away from home too much and are happy with an inside dog, with no other pets or children, Tilly just wants YOU all to her self.
