You may remember our dump kittens. Thrown away like trash and rescued from a rural dump after being collected with the trash on bin day 🙁 So emaciated they could hardly lift their heads, tatters of garbage bags under their nails from them clawing to freedom.

Unfortunately, these sweet girls had to come back into care through no fault of their own. After some loving and pampering from their foster carer, they're ready to find their new home - their FOREVER home.

Both girls are incredibly sweet and affectionate once they find their footing and feel safe. They may take a little time to become comfortable in a new environment but once they're settled, they become part of the family.

Mac and Macey are all about routine. They'll run to you as soon as you're up for breakfast, and come dinner time, they'll remind you that they're ready for their meal (they are, as we say, very well nourished cats 😹).

Mac is more confident than Macey, often leading the way when it comes to trying new things. Meanwhile, Macey carefully observes and then gets right involved in the fun. Toy mice, balls, and most toys bring them joy. However, they prefer to keep their feet on the ground, which means wand toys are not their favorite.

Both sisters like the occasional play session. Mac tends to initiate, but when Macey decides to join, she truly gets into the spirit of things. After play, they enjoy receiving head and back pats. Macey is partial to ear scratches, while Mac tends to favor more general pats. But take note, belly rub fans - while Mac's belly may look too irresistible to resist, it's a trap, enticing you in before springing the playful attack! Macey does allow the odd belly rub but on her terms, but generally it's a trap and no touchy.

Mac and Macey are perfectly okay with cohabiting with other chilled cats but are definitely not fans of feline bullies. They have also lived with an older child whom they adored and are ideally suited to a quiet, calm, and patient household.
