Hazelnut

Hi, I'm Hazelnut,
but you can call me Hazel for short!
I am a sweet girl who has been through A LOT and cannot wait to start my new life - hopefully it's you.
I came to the shelter with a truck load of puppies - they've flown the nest now, so I'm looking for my new home!
Because my previous home was not the best, I can be timid at first but it doesn't take long for me to become your best friend if you're calm and gentle.
I spent some time in foster care whilst I was gaining weight and I settled in very quickly and grew in confidence!
My carers were surprised how much I made myself at home!
I love playing with my enrichment and sniffing around.
I would love for someone to give me a roof over my head and a nice warm bed to curl up on, or your lap haha (The team here say I am a bit of a lap dog and I don't know my size). Because of what I have been through, I wwill preferably need an older household, no children at the moment in my life and the only dog please! I promise I will make sure I am enough for you!
One thing I forgot to mention... cuddles. They are the best. I think I was a lap dog in a previous life!
Anyway, if you would like to open your home to a sweet, sensitive, special dog, I'm your girl and I can not wait to meet you!
