Hi there, Thor here! I am a sweet, very sensitive boy who has had a really really tough start to life (it's a bit of a sob story so I won't go too deep), so I am needing extremely kind patient owners to give me a second chance. I will need a family who can take things slow with me, and practice gentle handling to help me be comfortable when being pat - I can get a little unsure around the vet too so we will need to work on husbandry in the home. I may be shy at first but once we have formed a bond I quite like gentle massages and pats to make me feel like part of the fam. I really enjoy toy play, this would be a really nice way for us to create a bond, especially if we pair play with treats, I absolutely love them, we could swap toys and treats out for each other!
As I have spent a lot of my life outdoors, I would love to have access to both outdoors and indoors, and be left with enrichment if you go out - I personally love eating out of a kong, wobbler, snuffle mat or other types of treat dispensers! My future home would need to be adults only, no children. I will also need to be the only dog, but could potentially have dog friends in the future.
It also may be okay if you work full time or part time, as long as you leave me with lots of mental and physical enrichment to keep me active and occupied!
