About Carl DL2840
Carl is a sweet boy who loves his people and is a joy to have in the home with his respectful and gentle nature.
Carl is a young dog and very food motivated, so he is picking up training quickly. He knows 'sit', and 'paw', and is working on 'down' and his recall, along with food manners. He's house trained, just needs access to take himself out to toilet.
Carl just adores being with you and isn't a fan of being left behind on his own. You'll need to work on this with him, so he'd suit a family who are home often or can take him with them. He makes a good tradie's apprentice, as he loves to lend a paw and knows his way around a Bunnings!
Carl is coming out of his shell and it's so fun watching him learn to play with toys. He has a basketful, and he likes to get them all out at once and play with each of them. He is starting to do little play growls, bows and barks with his toys - so cute!
Carl walks pretty well on the lead; sure, he zigzags a bit and likes to stop for a sniff or to pee, but he's gentle on the lead and happy to be next to you most of the time.
Carl was friendly when tested with another dog and would be happy to find a home with a dog pal who can keep him company and help build his confidence. He hasn't yet met cats or kids, though can be a bit bouncy when excited.
Cuddly Carl is an absolute delight. If you're ready to meet him, email DFL today to apply.
Medical notes
At 22kg, Carl is a medium sized adult dog.
