About Dusty DL2858
Dusty is just a sweet little pup. Dusty has three loves in his life: Food, runs, and cuddles. As long as these three needs are met, Dusty will be happy.
Dusty is very food driven and will perform many tricks for the promise of a treat. He can sit, wait, lie down, and shake. He even knows what ‘get out’ means. Overall, he is a very good listener, even without the treats. Dusty will always let you know when it is dinner time.
Dusty is a very energetic dog, and he needs to be taken on a walk daily, otherwise he is very restless. Dusty looks forward to his walks every day. He does pull on the lead in his excitement but is much more easy-going on the way back. Dusty doesn’t like his collar touched, and also jumps a lot when putting the lead on, so you'll need to be prepared to work on these things together.
Dusty is polite with other dogs (and cats). He hasn’t been tested off the leash with them yet, but he hasn’t shown any aggression to the dogs (and occasional cat) he has met on walks. He hasn’t been tested with children, but he has a powerful leap that would be too much for small kids.
He is a pretty easy-going dog overall, if you have the time to give him all the love and attention he deserves. Dusty doesn’t bark, although he can whine when he doesn’t get the attention he wants. He is fine being left alone in the house and hasn’t shown signs of destruction so far. As Dusty is a energetic dog, he would need a home with a decent backyard.
If you want a sweet dog to have adventures with, and lots of cuddles 24/7, Dusty is your goofy guy! Email DFL today to apply.
