Dusty is an intelligent, good-natured, young dog!

He is a quick learner, very eager to please, and extremely trainable. He ‘Sits’ on cue and offers his paw for a ‘hand shake.’ He will go ‘Down’ to the floor with your cue and gesture. When told to ‘Stay', he will then wait for you to return or come when called. He will also go outside or to his bed when asked.

Dusty is alert and watchful. He watches everything around him with great curiosity and interest. He is a dog with character and personality. If you sing to him, he will join in with his own doggie harmonies! He also chatters away in dog language but he isn't a barker. He is loyal and has strong ties with his owner.

Dusty is housetrained and uses a doggy door. He's pretty good on lead, can pull a bit, but will improve with practice. He tested well with other friendly dogs when properly introduced, and could go to a home with a playful dog pal who can handle his energy and enthusiasm. He hasn't been tested with kids or cats.

With Dusty's energy, he'll need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Having experience with working type breeds will be an advantage. He loves exploring and going on bush walks with you. We think Dusty will thrive living on a larger property with room to run and play.
