About Gilbert (Located in Werribee South)
Are looking for a snuggle buddy or pat theif or second shadow? Well stop right here, because Gilbert is a kitty who cannot wait to steal your heart!
Gilbert loves his human friends so much that he follows them all around the house. You can find him visiting you in the toilet, snuggling up on a lap watching TV or curled up next to you on the bed. He also loves his animal friends (including his foster cat siblings and the dog!) He is particularly fond of his friend Regina, and will give her a good snuggle and lick (Regina is also available for adoption).
Gilbert didn't have the best start to life, in fact he grew up on the streets with almost no human contact and was very fearful when he was rescued. With persistence and many food bribes he learnt just how great it is to be an indoor kitty, and never wants to experience the fear and loneliness of outside again!
Gilbert's ideal home is one where the humans will pronounce him King and give him endless pats and treats. He would love a fury sibling you keep him company too!

Medical notes
The adoption fee includes desexing, microchip, current vaccination, flea and worm treatment while in care.
Gilbert has a grade 2 heart murmur that at this stage does not effect the functioning of his heart at all. It is recommended that Gilbert have either 6-12 monthly Pro BNT blood tests to monitor his heart function.
Beary Fuzzy Forever Rescue would like to help ensure you and your new companion(s) have a long and happy life together. Please be aware that if you should find that you are not a purrfect match, or if you need to rehome your new furry family member at any stage of their life, Beary Fuzzy Forever Rescue will take the animal back into care.
Beary Fuzzy Forever Rescue provides a 7 day health warranty on all adoptions. While all our animals are health checked prior to adoption, sometimes the stress of moving to a new home can upset their immune system.

All our cats and kittens are in foster care, we do not operate a shelter or shop, so please send through an enquiry.
We have a detailed online adoption questionnaire for you to fill out. This will then be followed with a phone interview with the rescue Director and then the animals Foster Carer before we allow a meet and greet to take place with the animal in their foster home.
All cats and kittens in foster care are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea and worm treated prior to adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
The rescue group is no longer taking adoption applications for this pet.
