About Archie DL2834
Archie is a big, playful, happy boy who does goofy puppy things; he will certainly keep you entertained with his antics. He loves rolling around in his dog bed so vigorously that he tumbles right out!
He enjoys playing in the yard with you and finds silly places to hide his treats. He takes time to get to know new people, but once you're acquainted, Archie will bring you his toys to play together. That's how you know you've made friends!
Archie's looking for an experienced dog owner who is home more often and can help work on his anxieties about the things that give him the heebie jeebies like strange noises and sudden movements.
While Archie isn't suited to kids or cats, he has been living with teens 15yrs+ and adults, and has the potential to live with another dog. He's suited to a household that isn't too busy, as he'll need slow introductions to any guests.
You'll be pleased to know that he is a clever cookie! He is already house trained and will nudge you with his nose when he needs to go out to toilet. He knows lots of cues like sit, stay, come, touch, watch me, and wait. He has even learnt to stay out of the kitchen while you're cooking and lay on his bed while you're having dinner.
Archie loves his Kongs, snuffle mat, and activity games to keep him occupied. He loves playing fetch and tug, and he is a big fan of chasing the hose water and laying in the paddle pool. Keep a towel handy, or you’ll get soggy doggy cuddles when he’s finished playing!
If you’d love to give Archie his special home, contact DFL today to apply.
