Manny ~ 5yr Old Terrier X (On Trial 19/8/22)

Hi there my name is Manny. I’m a 5-year- old Terrier X and I might be small in stature but I
come packed with personality! My carer tells me all the time what a good boy I am and
sometimes calls me Mr Scruffy because my coat is a wee bit scruffy. Hey, we can’t all have
the good looks but I make up for that with my charm (I can charm the treats out of anyone
without even trying).

I’ve been living with two other dogs and I get along with them although I get a little annoyed
if they get more attention than me. I don’t like cats so I would love a home with no cats or
pockets pets. I’m a inside dog and I sleep in my own bed on the floor next to my humans
because I like to be close to them.

I am house-trained and have basic training like sitting on command. In fact, if you tempt me
with treats and lots of praise, I think I could be trained to do anything you want me to learn. I
love going for rides in the car. I do walk on lead but I pull because I get too excited to be
going for a walk so I will need my new family to help me to continue working on that. I bark
when people come to the house and I’m bit protective of my family with strangers but I think
it’s because of the terrier in me as we can be protective of those we love. My carer is not
sure if I’ve been exposed to small children before so they say I’d be best suited to children
over 12 years.

If you are looking for company to sit with you while watching tv or out in the garden, I’m your
guy. I love to be patted and I can take that all day; in fact, I will reach up to you with my
paw to tell you don’t stop because I love a good rub. So if there is someone out there that is
looking for a guy like me, I will repay you with all the affection my heart is holding for just the
perfect family. I am desexed, microchipped, and have all my vaccinations up to date.

No cats or pocket pets please. Before applying, please consider that Manny is a 10-15yr commitment. Please ensure you have had discussions with your family to be able to make that commitment to this absolutely incredible boy.

Interstate adoption is available subject to approval ( ACT, NSW ). Manny's adoption fee is $500 which includes all up to date vet work. He is microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and up to date with worming and flea treatments.
