Keiko is a little pocket rocket that loves nothing more then being with her people. She didn’t have the best start to life and is still learning what it means to be loved and have a full belly. Keiko needs a family full of kindness and patience to help her be the best dog she can be. She is most happy when inside and does settle down with a treat toy or a good chew when left alone. Ideally she would not be left alone for long periods of time and her people must have time available for lots of play, walks, pats and training. She is all tail wags and energy when you come home and will zoom around the home and yard in excitement. Keiko enjoys playing tug and is learning how to play fetch too. She is a friendly girl that enjoys her walks though needs to work on her lead manners a bit. She needs ongoing training to perfect her manners. Keiko has learnt to enjoy the company of other dogs while in foster but her new dog sibling will need to be calm and be able to give her space while she adjusts to her new home, or she would be happy to be an only dog. As Keiko is still learning what it is like being doted on and loved a home with children over 12 is preferred, as she needs people that will respect her space and give her time to warm up to them. She will not suit a home with cats or pocket pets.
