About Arthur- Male Kitten
Arthur came into care as a little 8-week-old kitten with a significant injury to his tail. After surgery, Arthie’s tail had to be partially amputated. Fast forward 2 weeks, and you wouldn’t even know!
Arthur and his brother Angus are quite bonded, and we would love to see them go to their forever home together. However, we would be happy for them to go to separate homes if there is another friendly cat to play with. Not only do they play together, but they also like to sleep holding on to each other.
Arthur is very adventurous and views an enclosure or gate as an opportunity to further develop his skills of parkour, then working on his sprinting skills if you try to catch him. In other words- he’s a cheeky little kitten!
He may pretend to be independent and not want cuddles, but as soon as he gets tired, he starts to purr and will happily accept a cuddle and a lie down beside you.
Arthur loves playing with all his foster cat friends and is used to his foster dog wanting to be his mum. He has not met any young children yet, but should be fine as long as the children are respectful and gentle.
Arthur is litter trained and can be a little fussy with what he eats.
Arthur is an indoor cat only, unless there is a secure outdoor enclosure for him to spend some time in the sun, or he is harness trained.
Arthur’s adoption fee is $200 or $350 with his brother Angus, which includes his microchipping, first vaccination, desexing, worming and flea treatment whilst in care.
**PLEASE NOTE- Arthur is only available for adoption to homes in the Newcastle, Central Coast, Hunter and Port Stephens regions as he needs to return to a DRN affiliated vet for desexing at 3.5 months of age.
Arthur is currently in foster care in Windermere Park (Morisset area) and if you are interested in him and hopefully his brother Angus, please complete the below DRN questionnaire:
