About Murphy
“Hi everyone my name is Murphy! I’m looking for my very own special home!
I am a very sweet, gentle, smart little fella and my foster mum said anyone would be very lucky to call me theirs.
I love nothing more than getting a belly rub or cuddling my foster siblings. I would love a friend who I can play with and cuddle with when it gets cold.
Foster mum says I’m too smart for my own good, I can sit, stay, come and leave it, I’ve also taught myself how to open baby gates and cupboards! I am slightly hearing impaired so need a family who is willing to work with me and understand how my brain works.
I am toilet trained and would love a home with a big backyard that I can explore and keep my mind entertained when left alone.
I love going for a walk and am very well mannered when out in public, I sit under the table when we go out for breakfast and always love getting cuddles from new friends. Unlike most other cattle dogs though, I tire quite easily so a casual stroll is all I require.
As I’m currently receiving treatment for meningitis, all but finished , I’ve recovered and it’s just maintenance . I am quite shy of others when we go for our walks but always greet them with a happy tail.”
