About Trooper
Not with us, an assisted rehome for our friends in rescue - an incredible mum and son team who go up and beyond to save many dogs in rural NSW who desperately need help. All credit of this story and this rescue goes to them.
🐾Trooper is an affectionate, over the top lovely little hero who has been through so much that he only deserve the best life with the best people🐾
Please share to help him find the life he always deserved.
A true rescue tale. Trooper is nothing short of a miracle and his story has won the hearts of everyone who has heard it.
Trooper is the worst neglect and cruelty case the rescue has ever seen. He came incredibly emancipated, anaemic, with a fully ruptured eye, covered in fleas and on deaths door. The pictures speak for themselves.
What was the most heart-breaking part? This boy still had a love for people, a slow little wagging tail and sad but hopeful eyes that said please help me and take a chance on me.
Despite his horrific past Trooper has the biggest heart, the most affectionate dog that you’ll meet, he is incredibly happy, appreciate and so full of life! We really cannot fault him and are sure the moment that you meet him you will fall entirely in love with him.
Trooper is a super smart boy and loves to learn! He will need someone who is understanding of his past, able to guide him and continue his training. Someone committed who won’t let him down, he has been let down enough.
He is good with other dogs, but can be a little cautious of male dogs who get into his face. His new owner must be aware of this when exercising him and be a confident, responsible and experienced owner.
Given how starved and neglected he was his ideal home would be a dog free home as he can get food aggressive. He would also be best suited to a home without any young children.
He is a large dog who will need a home with secure fencing and someone dedicating to exercising him daily.
Trooper loves comfort, he loves being snuggled, he loves being adores, he loves following his humans and going on adventures! The ideal home for him would be an active family, who shows him how beautiful and amazing the world can be.
Dogs with a story like Trooper love in a different way, they love hard, are incredibly loyal and so appreciative of life that they really do make the best family members.
