About Heidi
Heidi is a female 8 month old German Shephard pup. She's had a rough start in life and was severely under nourished when she first came to her family. She's picked up a lot of weight an has grown considerably into a beautiful, but slightly slim girl.
She's got a beautiful temperament and absolutely loves to be near her people. She is the sweetest girl who respibds really well to basic command training and is eager to please althoight not overly food motivated. She walks well on a lead and get on well other other dogs.
Heidi unfortunately loves to chase so would not be suitable for a home with chickens, cats or livestock. This is the reason Heidi is being rehomed.
Heidi has not been around young children much but is very gentle and responsive to primary aged children. She has completed basic puppy obedience and socialisation school.
Heidi has been diagnosed with hip displacing early on. And whilst her vets don't think she's in any pain, she will need ongoing support and supplements to counteract this.
Like a true German Shephard Heidi can be a little timid when you first meet her. As a part of this rehoming process Heidi might need some extra love and kisses as she settles into her new home. Once she's comfortable she will be a well loved addition to my family.-
