Rupert is a handsome boy who loves life to the full. He is a fun-loving, gentle male who gets along with other dogs and humans, including children of all ages.

He loves playing in the yard and enjoys chasing toys and balls, although he is still working on his retrieval skills. He loves to play with other dogs and has never shown any aggression. Initially he may be protective of his food but this doesn't last long, after he realises he is in a safe space.

In a short period of time, Rupert has learnt the following commands: sit, stay, shake paw and answering to his name. Rupert is still learning to not pull and walk in a straight line on a lead. Rupert is also crate trained for eating meals and taking a bone break.

He loves a good back rub and lots of pats. He also enjoys sitting next to his humans at the end of the day to each others company. After some daily positive interactions he will become more comfortable around male humans.

Rupert can safely be at home in the yard during the working day but he would absolutely love if his humans were working from home.

Rupert has a loving, gentle nature, although can forget his size by wanting to sit on a human lap. He is an adorable boy who deserves all the love someone has to give him.
