Hi, I’m Deacon!

My foster carer says I’m absolutely lovely and that I’m extra special because I have a snaggle tooth.
I think that means I’m a snaggle tooth tiger, though I’ve got no stripes so maybe I’m a snaggle tooth lion. I looked it up and couldn’t find any information on it so maybe I’m the only snaggle tooth lion in the world! Maybe that’s what makes me extra special.

Sometimes I think that people may look at me and see a rough street cat, but underneath all my fluff I promise I'm a sweetheart. The quickest way to see that sweet side of me is a brush! I really like to look my best and with fur as luxurious as mine I really appreciate the extra help.

I’m still getting used to cuddles, where I came from cuddles were something I never experienced, so I’m still learning, but I think I’m going to like them. My favourite cuddle so far is getting a good scratch behind the ears. That always brings out my biggest purrs.

Of course, the other way to get a good purr from me is... FOOD! I can’t believe I get meals all the time now, it’s the best. I don't mind what you feed me, but I do know the sound of a food bag and nothing gets me more excited. I've been told I do a little happy dance but don't spread that around, it gets in the way of my tough-guy image.

I’m excited about having my very own home. I wouldn't mind sharing with another cat if we had the right introduction. I’m happy to play sometimes and other times I’m happy to be on my own.
I've been told to let you know that I'm something called FIV+. I'm perfectly friendly and won't bite other cats so there's no risk to any feline sibling I may be lucky enough to have. As I will be an indoor cat, there's no reason why I can't live a long and happy life.
