About Poppet
Poppet is a sweet, sweet boy who was rescued from a local colony at only 390g needing a lot of love, attention and care. He has had a bit of an extended stay in foster care so has totally mastered the art of being an indoor cat and settled right into the life of lap-cat.
Poppet, or "Poppy", is a super playful guy and still a kitten at only 6 months of age. He loves kitty toys, all of them, but his very favourite thing is a feather wand toy which he loves to drag around his foster home with him like his very special treasure. His second favourite toy is a little finger puppet mouse. If he is not dragging around his feather wand, he is carrying around his mouse puppet and likes to have it by his side as much as possible.
Poppet is also a very, very cuddly and no amount of cuddles are ever too much! He will climb up on to his humans' shoulders and wrap his whole body lovingly around their neck while rubbing his face all over them, just absolutely showering them with his love. He loves to be in the company of his humans and misses them when they go out. He is always so happy when they come home, and they get such a warm, loving welcome.
At night-time, Poppet either snuggles into his fluffy bed or in his cat tower for naps, but if some of the humans are still awake, he is most definitely cuddled up on their lap. He is very much adored by his foster family. Poppet is just a happy, playful, loving and cuddly kitty who has settled so well into indoor life and just loves humans. He is very ready to find his forever human lap to snooze in.
All AWL NSW kittens and cats come litter trained, desexed, microchipped and will have received their first vaccination.
